Ephesians 4:32 Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God forgave you in Christ.
Marriage is never the union of two perfect individuals, but rather two sinners who have received grace, learning to accept and forgive one another in God's love. Without grace, differences and hurt become battlegrounds; but in Christ's forgiveness, we can let go of our ego and respond to each other with compassion, patience, and kindness. Marriage is not about escaping breakage, but about experiencing repair within breakage; it is not about seeking perfection, but about growing together into the likeness of Christ.
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for giving us marriage, allowing us to learn Your love in our relationship. Grant me a tender heart, so that when I am hurt or disappointed, I may still forgive, understand, and embrace with the heart of Christ. May Your grace dwell in our home, making our relationship a testimony to Your love. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
