Joshua 1:9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.
This passage reminds us that we should not shrink back from the challenges and difficulties of missionary work out of fear. God commands us to be strong and courageous, to bravely take steps of faith. No matter how difficult the circumstances, God's presence will never abandon us, giving us the strength to overcome the storms. Through the Lord's grace, we can overcome our fears and steadfastly walk on the path God has called us to.
Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for your promises and presence. Grant me a strong heart to overcome fear and weakness. Help me to walk bravely on the missionary path, relying on your grace, without being defeated by rejection or difficulties. May I always remember that you are with me; you are my strength and shield. In Jesus' name, Amen.
