Psalm 77:19 Your ways are in the sea, your paths in the great waters, and no one knows the traces of your feet.
This passage reminds me that God's ways are often hidden in the depths we cannot see or predict. The fact that no one knows His footsteps does not mean He is not there, but rather that He is opening a path in the sea that we cannot perceive with our naked eyes. When circumstances are as turbulent as a great flood and the future as unpredictable as the deep sea, God still walks upon them, guiding us through the storms. Faith is not about seeing clearly what lies ahead, but about knowing that the Lord who leads us never fails.
Lord, when I cannot see your footsteps, grant me a steadfast heart to still follow you. When the road ahead is unclear, choices uncertain, and circumstances turbulent, let me remember that you cleared a path in the sea and walked through the great waters. Lead our small group and every family, relying on you in uncertainty and experiencing your presence in the storms. Lord, may we not doubt because we cannot see, nor shrink back because of the unknown. Guide us on the path you have prepared. Amen.
