Isaiah 45:15 “Truly you are the God of Israel, the Savior, a God who hides himself.”
We often expect a God who responds immediately and reveals Himself clearly, yet we feel uneasy in silence and unseen presence. However, the Bible reminds me that God's concealment is not absence, but rather His way of working. When I thought my path was blocked and my prayers were silent, God was actually working in the darkness of my life, shaping my faith and expanding its capacity. True trust is not about following only when we see, but about choosing not to leave even when we don't understand.
Lord, you are a God who hides himself, and I confess that I often feel anxious because I cannot see your works. Forgive my eagerness for answers and results. Teach me to trust in you even in silence, and to look to you even in darkness. When I do not understand why you hide, please keep me from turning away, but to wait quietly, believing that you are preparing deeper grace for me. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
