Joshua 1:9 “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of a good courage! Do not be afraid or dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
Charlie's words remind me that faith without courage will become silent under pressure. But God clearly commands in Joshua 1:9: "Be strong and of a good courage; do not be afraid." Charlie's courage to persevere in his beliefs, even at great cost, inspires me to never waver in the truth. Courage doesn't come from within; it comes from God's presence. May I learn to be brave, persevere in my faith, and become a light in the darkness.
Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for Charlie's testimony. His courage and perseverance serve as a reminder. Please comfort his family and colleagues, and strengthen our faith. May we not be cowed by circumstances, but rather be strong and courageous, knowing that you are always with us. Please grant me a courageous heart to live for the truth, without escaping or compromising, until I see you face to face. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.
