Jeremiah 10:23 reminds us that our paths are not in our own hands. We often believe we can control the future, that planning and hard work can forge a safe path. But the truth is, even our next steps are not entirely our own. God is the true sovereign, guiding us according to His will and wisdom. What may seem like random events in life are actually orchestrated by God. Instead of anxiety, trust; instead of clinging, surrender.
Dear Heavenly Father, I acknowledge my limitations and inability, not even to determine my own steps. Please grant me a humble and obedient heart, seeking your guidance every step of the way. Even when the road twists and turns, may I trust that your hand is in control, and that you will lead me in the direction that aligns with your will. In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen.
