Matthew 6:33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
We often worry about the many problems in life, focusing on how to solve finances, relationships, and work pressures, but often overlook the most fundamental priority: putting God first. When God is at the center of my life, everything else falls into place. Often, it's not so much that there are too many problems, but rather that priorities are wrong. The Lord reminded me not to solve problems first, but to look to Him first and put Him "first."
Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for reminding me that the most important thing in life is to put you first. Help me to stop being drawn away by the anxieties of life and instead seek first your kingdom and your righteousness. Lord, as I exalt you to your rightful place in my life, grant me the confidence to trust that you will address my needs at the right time. May you take first place in my heart, guiding my steps so that I can live a life of order and peace. In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen.
