Philippians 2:13 For it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose.
Philippians 2:13 reminds me that what truly propels me forward is not my own ability, zeal, or experience, but the grace of God working within me. He not only calls me but also perfects me; He not only moves me to serve but also gives me the strength to stand firm in service. This makes me understand that responding to the call is not by my own strength but by submitting to the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Since everything comes from God, I need not fear my own weaknesses, but simply faithfully walk in His will.
Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for working in my heart, enabling me to be willing and able to respond to your calling. As I step into my new ministry, I ask that you continue to uphold me, granting me wisdom, humility, and strength, so that all my actions may fulfill your good purpose. Keep my heart from relying on itself, but always on your grace. May you be strong in my weakness and glorify yourself in my service. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
