1 Corinthians 6:19-20 Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, in whom dwells the Holy Spirit, the gift of God? You no longer belong to yourselves, for you were bought by God at a price. Therefore glorify Him with your bodies.
Traditional Chinese medicine views the human body as a "microcosm" connecting heaven and earth, pursuing the unity of humanity and nature; while the Bible goes a step further, revealing that our body is "the temple of the Holy Spirit." This reminds me that health is not merely the absence of physical illness, but rather the complete harmony of spirit, soul, and body within a sacred order. Practicing medicine and living life are both spiritual commitments, and I should care for this temple of God with reverence and humility, allowing life to manifest the glory and harmony of the Kingdom of Heaven from within.
Dear Lord of Healing, thank You for redeeming me at a great price and for allowing the Holy Spirit to dwell within me. Forgive me for often neglecting the peace of my body and mind in my busyness; ask that Your love reconstitute my life, so that my soul and body may return to Your divine order. Lord, guard my thoughts and intentions, and grant me heavenly wisdom and mercy. Use my life as a conduit for Your flow, so that I may live out Your glorious testimony in every day. Amen.
