Matthew 5:16 Let your light shine before men, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.
The power of parental instruction lies not in verbal instruction but in the example of life. Children learn most deeply from seeing their parents trust in God and practice the truth in their lives. If we ourselves do not walk the "way we should go," verbal instruction loses its power. May our lives be a true testimony of faith in our children's eyes, allowing them to know the glory of our Heavenly Father through our light.
Dear Heavenly Father, please first enlighten me so that I can walk in your truth and influence my children with my life. Grant me humility, patience, and wisdom to be a godly example in my family. May my words and actions reflect your glory, so that my children can see the reality of their faith and learn to fear and love you. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
