Revelation 14:4 Wherever the Lamb goes, they follow him.
Mrs. Henrietta Shuck's expectations for her children serve as a benchmark for every follower. Following the Lamb (Revelation 14:4) means completely surrendering the sovereignty of one's life. In daily choices, do I pursue worldly "wealth and greatness," or am I willing to be a humble yet faithful servant in His vineyard? True following is not about favorable or unfavorable circumstances, but about having the will to obey and follow the Lamb wherever he leads.
Loving Heavenly Father, grant me the pure faith of Mrs. Henrietta Shuck. I do not seek earthly fame or wealth, but only that my life may be a true follower of the Lamb. Lord, wherever You lead me, whether on smooth or rugged paths, draw me firmly in Your love. Send me into Your vineyard, grant me a selfless and fervent heart, to be a useful vessel in the work You have entrusted to me. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
